In one of the world’s strictest anti-tobacco laws, Mexico bans smoking in public spaces – I had a subscriber ask me this earlier this week. Yes, it’s true. Not everyone in Mexico is happy about it. Some called the law draconian, given that it basically relegates smoking to private homes without kids, while others questioned whether it would be enforceable at all. It applies everyone includes resorts and beaches.
More and more Americans are flocking to Mexico in 2023 – not a surprise really and it’s at a record high

The white savior complex is a term used to describe the belief that white people are inherently superior and have a moral obligation to save non-white people from their supposed inferiority. This mindset is often characterized by a lack of understanding and respect for the local culture and customs, as well as a lack of interest in truly understanding the root causes of the issues they are trying to solve.
