Five shirts got new buttons and boots resoled
I had some shirts each missing a button. I hadn’t worn them in over a year. So I asked around for a seamstress.
I got back five shirts done for US$5. It took less than a week.
Most all seamstresses are not listed online so it’s a matter of walking/driving past one and word of mouth.
I asked one of my drivers I use for who they recommended and give him my shirts. Next time I needed a ride he had them with him.
I’ve also had my hiking boots resoled for US$15 and they are like brand new.
Getting clothes and shoes repaired with such good quality and such a great price has changed how I keep clothes. I now only replace clothes as they wear out or get so stained that I can’t get them cleaned.
