For Americans seeing temperatures in Celsius, here’s an easy guide:
- 0°C: Freezing
- 10°C: Cool
- 20°C: Warm
- 30°C: Hot
- 40°C+: Scorching
Personal examples:
- 32°C is most I can comfortably handle without getting in deep shade or a pool outside
- 26°C is the most perfect temperature ever
- 20°C I’m switching to jeans and a sport jacket
- 17°C is the lowest I’ve been in, in Mexico. I dressed up in my best and walked down 5th in Playa del Carmen just for fun.
- Anything lower I won’t live in and only visit if a family visit
