For Americans seeing temperatures in Celsius, here’s an easy guide:

  • 0°C: Freezing
  • 10°C: Cool
  • 20°C: Warm
  • 30°C: Hot
  • 40°C+: Scorching

Personal examples:

  • 32°C is most I can comfortably handle without getting in deep shade or a pool outside
  • 26°C is the most perfect temperature ever
  • 20°C I’m switching to jeans and a sport jacket
  • 17°C is the lowest I’ve been in, in Mexico. I dressed up in my best and walked down 5th in Playa del Carmen just for fun.
  • Anything lower I won’t live in and only visit if a family visit
